Tree Spade Hire

Due to a growing number of inquiries from clients requiring large trees to be either lifted or relocated, we now provide a comprehensive ‘BIG tree’ lifting service.

Golf courses have been particularly quick to respond to this new offering with courses as far away as Bristol keen to take advantage of this cost-effective way to move sizeable trees.

Summer 2008 saw The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle (famous venue for Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s wedding in December 2000) utilise the Marooka’s services over two separate occasions to relocate prized semi-mature stock. 

Our flagship lifting vehicle, the Marooka (pictured left), can be hired on a daily basis which includes the services of one of our Nursery Technicians to operate it. We arrange transportation and take care of any maintenance should the vehicle require it – leaving you to get on with the job in hand.

And as the Marooka is track driven, large trees can easily be moved in conditions that most wheeled vehicles would find impossible.
